The Village of Los Ranchos Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 2025-08-01, allowing the Village to place on the Regular Local Election Ballot the following question:

“Shall the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque impose one-fourth of one percent (0.25%, or 25 cents per $100 of taxable gross receipts) Local Economic Development Act Local Option Gross Receipts Tax (LEDA LOGRT), with the revenue being dedicated to furthering or implementing economic development plans and projects, among which arts and cultural districts, cultural facilities and retail businesses would be qualifying uses?”

Early Voting Information:

The Bernalillo County Clerk’s Annex will be the only site open from October 7 to October 17, 2025. Please note of closure on Monday, October 13, 2025, for Indigenous People’s Day.

Early Voting Locations will open from October 18 to November 1, 2025. Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., unless stated otherwise.

The Village of Los Ranchos Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 2022-08-04; allowing the Village to place on the General Election Ballot the following question:

“Shall the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico be authorized to issue up to $8,000,000 of general obligation bonds for the purpose to acquire, enhance or otherwise improve property for use as open space?”

FAQ’S

Q. What are General Obligation Bonds?

A. Voter authorized bonds for the purpose of providing capital funds for infrastructure projects, such as purchasing real property and the renovation of existing property for use as open space.

Q. Will there be an increase to the Village’s Tax Rate?

A. The Village will use existing revenues to pay for voter approved bonds so that there will not be an increase to the Village’s tax rate for debt.

Q. Will there be an increase to my property taxes?

A. There will not be an increase to property taxes.
