National Night Out is one week away!  

National Night Out started around 1984 as an initiative to encourage people to sit on their front porches and get to know their neighbors. It is fundamentally a community-building event designed to help neighbors connect and watch out for one another, which in turn helps keep the community safe. The event focuses on both community building and public safety.

Tuesday, August 4 - National Night Out - 6:30 PM 

- Hartnett Park/Alfredo Garcia Barn (6610 Rio Grande Blvd NW) 

- The Village of Los Ranchos invites residents, families, neighbors, and friends to join us for National Night Out, an evening of information, fellowship, community spirit, and family-friendly fun. 

- Hear from community partners: Mayor Lawrence Rael, BCSO Sheriff John Allen, BC Fire/Rescue Fire Chief Zach Lardy, BC Emergency Manager Thomas Walmsley and BC Animal Control Director Misha Goodman.  Village Public Safety Advisor Greg Perez. 

- Complimentary hot dogs and water will be provided, a variety of local food vendors will also be on-site with additional food and refreshments available for purchase. Bring a lawn or folding chair.
