4th Street Repaving Project Begins April 20

As part of the 4th Street Revitalization Project, the Village will begin repaving and restriping 4th Street between Ranchitos Road and Ortega Road starting Monday, April 20. This segment was recently converted to the three-lane configuration planned for the full corridor but is not included in the larger reconstruction project anticipated to go out to bid later this summer.

Several portions of this stretch are showing significant asphalt deterioration, and full reconstruction is not expected for another three to five years. In the meantime, this work allows us to address immediate needs and improve conditions using available capital outlay funding.
